I’m calling yesterday “fez Friday”. The earliest version of the fez was around from roughly 1500 AD. The tassle got added a little later. The hat was more frequently worn in the early 19th century. It’s an old hat.

#LAX, Los Angeles International Airport | I accidentally landed on the night of the largest terminal reorganization in aviation history. Strangely, everything went really smoothly - way more smoothly than most other times I’ve landed or taken off from any airport in the last several years (with the exception of the Palm Springs airport which is great, but small). Then there’s the traffic in and out the airport, which will probably get worse when the new football stadium is built. There’s just no time efficient way to get in and out of that airport, but #FlyawayLA - a shuttle to Union Station, is pretty fast during rush hour.
